Jason operates Perch Eye's Guide Service out of Minnewaukn, ND He's guiding includes upland, game-water, fowl, deer and multi fish species on Devil's Lake. Today along with Vern and Jason, Vernell Johnsn, Sheelby Vtech and Dean Sorum, hunt the migrating Sandhill Crane. They tried decoying the large birds but pass shooting turned out to be the most successful way to hunt the crane. These are very wary birds so concealment and the lack of movement on the ground is absolutely necessary to have these birds come into range for a shot.
