The beginning of this show puts Jeff in a deer stand for archery whitetail deer. Vern and Jeff put a stand near a water-hole in a cornfield. The deer are using the water-hole constantly, the crew have seen nice buck frequenting the area. On a nice fall day Jeff decides to see if the deer are thirsty and hopefully get a shot at the buck. Late in the day some doe and the buck appear as we hoped. the buck lags behind the doe and finally gives Jeff the opportunity he's looking for; a broadside 40 yard shot. A good shot but a decision is made to leave the deer over night to be sure. A successful hunt ends the next morning. On the second part of this show Dave and Jeff head west river to find Mulie buck for Dave. After a few days of scouting Dave and Jeff spot a nice buck that frequents a water-hole. Dave and Jeff decide this is the one. The next day proves to be the day the buck comes back for a drink and the guys are ready. Jeff captures Dave's shot on film and its a perfect shot; the kind hunter like when deer drop on the spot. These are two big game hunts in SD you'll enjoy.
