In spring when we have ice out we can't wait to get the boats into the water. Spring is spawning time for many species. Today Vern, Jeff and Dave head out in search of Crappies. The second spot they try is one of Vern's favorites and as it turns out its the crappie's favorites also. Using a sip bobber and a minnow in 4 feet of water the crappie are on a feeding frenzy. The crew is on the water by eight a.m. by noon it's time to head in and call it a day. This is a show of some world class crappie action. Its a tactic anyone can use and with a little homework you should be able to duplicate.
