"As I grew older I started to get serious about it!"
I grew up in a small town with a love for the outdoors. Ever since I was very little I always loves being outside and hunting and fishing with dad and grandpa. At age 4, and 5 my dad would always go pheasant hunting with our old dog Ace. I knew he was going and I would always beg to come with and he would take me just because he knew I loved it. Even though he knew I loved it does not mean I could do it. When we were walking he would have his gun in his right hand and me on his shoulders. He knew that he would not get anything whenever he went out, but if I had fun he had a blast. As I grew older I started to get serious about it. I ended up buying decoys, boats, several permanent ice shacks.
I started to make it more than just a passion, I started to make it my life. By now I spend all week scouting or pre-fishing just to have that amazing hunt or to catch that nice walleye. Having a busy schedule as an outdoors man, takes a lot of support and help from family and friends. I have also been very blessed to have family and friends to teach me. I can remember countless times Going out with my cousin Bill learning all about electronics and how to use them, and all I did was soak it in and pay attention to what he had to say and teach me. As I grow older I now know more about the sports and different techniques. If you see me out in the field or on the water stop and say hi.
